NEW GENERATION OF MEXICAN MUSLIMS
Over the years, the young Muslim community has grown and we now see a new generation of Muslim children emerging in Mexico.
Viva Islam is working to develop and organise classes and programs at the Masjid, which will assist these children to recognise the importance of Islam in their journey into adulthood.
ABDEL KABIR RODRIGUEZ FIMBRES
One such, new generation Mexican Muslim is Abdel Kabir, born in Tijuana on 2nd of February 2012, his parents are both Mexican Muslims who had embraced Islam at Al Wahid Centre.
Kabir has grown up watching the construction of the Masjid and he has already learnt many essential facts about practising Islam, how to make wudhu, importance of prayer, to make dua, attending Jummah prayers and Ramadan.
Now at four years old, he attends Santillana del Mar, a bilingual institute where he is learning english aside from other school studies. He regularly meets the children of foster home and orphanage casa Jazmine, may Allah (SWT) bless him and make him a good Muslim!
